Rene Lyons has always had a fascination with medieval history and with the paranormal. It seemed only natural her two loves would come together in her writing. Growing up, she was often lost in a book. She began writing science-fiction at the age of ten, but that all changed when she was fifteen and read her first romance novel. From that moment on, she began writing her own Happily Ever Afters.
Along with being a writer and cover artist, Rene is co-owner of Lyrical Press, Inc., a small press publishing house she and her husband have opened. Currently, they are open to submissions. Their motto is...If you dare to write it, they dare to consider it.
Rene and Frank make their home in New York. They have one daughter, whom they call their miracle (or The Mayor). Rounding out their family are two crazy cats, a fish named Al Capone and Jethro the Turtle.
